Simona Pozzetto has over 10 years of social work experience assisting a variety of populations and clients. Her previous work includes crisis, outpatient therapy, facilitating support groups, and working with DMH to provide therapy to children, adolescents and their families. Most recently Simona was a part of WCFC’s New England Geriatrics program, in which she provided psychotherapy to nursing home residents throughout Western Massachusetts. In her career Simona has done extensive trauma work, first through the Post Homicide Family Support Program, and lately with veterans in her work at the Soldiers’ Home in Holyoke. She is a native of Italy and moved to the USA in 2000. She lives in Western Massachusetts with her husband, their three children, and their dog. In her new role as Co-Clinic Director Simona will be providing supervision to our clinical staff, and will participate in the daily operations of the clinic.
